Today we're looking at the official website of AVN award winning video production studio Wicked Pictures. Wicked is a a major player in the industry, and if you've spend much time looking at DVD porn in the past, there's a good chance you've seen a Wicked title at some point. Many of today's big names got their start as Wicked Girls, including Jenna Jameson. Membership is $30 a month and includes access to their large archive of films.
Wicked offers up a very entertaining collection of their original movies and photo sets. You'll find many of todays hottest stars here, along with popular series and titles. The action is a mix of mainstream genres, with lots of hardcore and lesbian action. Some of the scenes dabble in fetishes and others take a decidedly romantic route. It's a very well-rounded hardcore collection with all the fantastic scenes you'd expect from Wicked.
There's plenty for Wicked fans to enjoy here. Members will currently find 16,250 galleries and 3,250 total video scenes. That's a massive collection that will keep members entertained a long time.
This is a great-looking collection of scenes! The more recently released movies play at up to 1920 x 1080 and 6000k. They're just gorgeous! It's easy to fill your screen with this high quality action. The photos are also nicely done. Size varies a bit, but you'll find that the newer galleries are large and professional. It's an all-around high quality collection.
Photos can be downloaded in zip files and viewed in a slideshow.
Updates are large. Once a week, six new scenes are added to the site with photo and video content.
Videos can be streamed in browser using Flash and downloaded as mp4s. No matter which option you choose, you're treated to four quality settings.
There are a few helpful navigational features here, including the option to browse by DVD, scene, or model. There are also sort features including date and popularity, along with a keyword search.
As you go back in the collection, you'll see that the quality drops off a bit. Although the site itself isn't all that old, they offer videos that were originally released in the early 1990s. These scenes do not include the high definition option. They are offered as mp4s at a size of XXXXX. They certainly show their age. As you move forward in the collection, you'll see the quality improve to high definition. It's a big upgrade. Keep in mind, though, that the oldest scenes don't look near as sharp.
A large part of this collection is non-exclusive content that is easily available anywhere Wicked DVDs are available. These are familiar series that you've certainly seen before. Some of the material here is unique to the site, but much of it isn't.
While I had no trouble getting around the site, I was surprised that the navigation was relatively basic. There's no advanced search, no category list, and only fairly basic sort options. The scenes actually include category tags, but they're not actually linked to other scenes. The navigation could definitely be beefed up here.
Watch out for the trial! It's just $1 for the first two days of access and then it recurs at $40 a month!
Wicked has put together a very user-friendly website that is absolutely packed with their award-winning content. The site is huge and high quality, well worth the $30 a month price tag. There are a few issues to consider but overall I completely enjoyed making my way through their collection. Even with some minor issues, Wicked is a solid join that I will definitely be back to in the future.
