Sex Gaymes is a gay site that focuses in on jock men in their hardcore video collection and solo guy photo galleries. On the tour the main areas to check out are the Gaymes Videos which has the movie categories broken down (Aqua, Gymnasium, Great Outdoors, Fighting. Ball Sports, etc) and the Jock Extra section houses the photo sets. This site is from the AEBN company which is best known for its pay-per-minute movie sites and while Sex Gaymes has a standard monthly membership it bears some resemblance to a per-minute site in that the WMV downloads have DRM protection. Also worth noting right off the bat are that five company bonus sites are included which are all gay focused with different niche themes.
Sex Gaymes has the jock and athletic theme running throughout its collection and the men fit that genre with a mix of pro looking guys along with some more everyday amateur types. The videos are hardcore with one-on-one and groupsex and I like the mix of indoor and outdoor athletic concepts along with scenes that are simpler with just jock/buff guys. The total number of videos is well into the hundreds which is a solid amount for this type of site.
The archive of photo galleries is housed in the 'Jock Xtra' section on the navigation bar and there are over thirty pages each of which has a dozen galleries. For the most part the pics feature solo softcore stripping and posing with a few hardcore sets thrown as well. The softcore nature of the photos are a nice counterbalance to the hardcore videos and guys are fit, muscular, and trim so they fit the jock concept too. Many models have both video and picture content available.
'Hall of Fame' section is an alphabetical model index which is a useful browse tool. The videos are also categorized into theme sections like Gymnasium, Athletic, Fighting, Behind-the-Scenes, etc.
Video in-browser streaming loads/buffers quickly and allows for immedate jumping ahead in the Flash format. WMV is also offered.
Live Cam Shows are included as part of the content. It looks like there are multiple shows per week and info can be found on the member's home page and in the dedicated XXX Cinema section.
Company bonus sites are included with membership and linked to from the top of the Sex Gaymes navigation header.
Video quality and formatting is a weakness here. The specs on the movies vary with the higher ones topping out at around 1500k 640x480 on both the WMV and Flash. Older movies can have bit rates more like 700-800k so things get fuzzy and unimpressive on some scenes. Also, while they do have WMV full-scene downloads the movies are DRM protected which means they are not playable once you end your membership here. An active login/pwd must be entered to play the downloaded files.
Similar to the movies the quality and options on the photos aren't anything to write home about. Image size seems to vary a bit with regard to specific specs however the images all hover somewhere around 900x600. No size options are offered and zip files aren't available to save the sets.
Update info isn't posted on the individual videos, galleries, and models and the Latest News is more about cam show type stuff. Our TBP content fact mangers have noted regular updates but the lack of info makes it tough to track.
The 'Latest News' section can sometimes be out of date. For instance I noticed that recent announcemnts for upcoming cam shows are for shows that took place a week or two before my review.
There are some advertisements and upsells in the member's area and join page cross-sells.
The main positive that stands out at Sex Gaymes is the content collection itself which is a nice blend of videos and pictures along with hardcore and softcore. Jock, athletic, and outdoor themes are carried out well throughout the content. What holds the site back is the average to low quality content, the DRM protected videos, and lack of picture gallery zips.
