This site promises a good selection of Penthouse features, stories, movie reviews, interviews, and access to Penthouse.com photos and videos.
This is the online home to Penthouse Forum magazine. Obviously the main site for this company is Penthouse and members of Penthouse Forum get access to that site as well. What you'll find here is a collection of issue archives with stories/letters along with reviews of adult movies and sex products. Photo and video content is not housed here as they have all of that located at the main Penthouse site. It seems that this company has set-up a few peripheral sites to work along with their main Penthouse site and Penthouse Forum along with Variations, and Penthouse Letters now make up the company's full collection.
Penthouse Forum includes content sections of Features, Open Forum, and Magazine Issue Archives. All told there are a good amount of penthouse features, articles, and letters from a company that was well known for their erotic letters back in the day. Basically it's a variety pack of people sounding off with advice, experiences, etc. There are interviews, sex lessons, fiction, and non-fiction so there is a wide range of types of writings along with a mix of new stuff with content from years or decades back.
Sections are dedicated to photos and videos in the member's area and there is an announcement that all content like that is now housed in the main Penthouse site. Based on the announcement it seems like they may have had content here in the past however now they just go with text items here and include the bonus site access for pics and vids.
Browse-by-cover issue archive layout makes it easy to browse the magazines. In general the design is simple to use and they have some niche categorization of the stories/letters.
While they do offer the bonus site access to their main content site there isn't any actual photo or video content here at Penthouse Forum. The guest tour highlights things like XXX Photos and Full-Length Movies but those are actually not found here. This is certainly something that potential members will want to be aware of.
The issue archive goes back to 2001 and issues prior to that have a not that says "Content for this issue is not yet available. Please check back later." The drop-down menu selector has years going back to 1972 so that leaves the majority of issue not included. The cover thumbnail pic page also has broken images for some of the issues which looks tacky.
The main navigation header here has sections called Blue Review and Guilty Pleasures which include movie and product reviews respectively. They are short, not very detailed, and sometime incomplete but they always have a "Click Here to Buy" link for the Penthouse Store. The link doesn't even direct to the actual product but just the store home page.
This is one of those rare sites where memberhip access ends immedieately upon cancellation. You cannot cancel and then continue to access the site until the end of your initial term.
This is one of those paysites that is very different from most porn sites. The two things that really define that site are that it features text only content and is from the Penthouse company. The audience for this is certainly very specific since no picture/video content is available here. They do seem to be updating with new issues and content and hopefully they add more of the issues from past decades in the issue archive since that isn't complete as of yet. That remains to be seen.
