My Thumbnails is a sanctuary totally devoted to the exchanging of amateur photographs. You can upload photos and movies directly from your home computer and have them instantly on display!
My Thumbnails is up for review today, and this is a pretty straightforward user-submitted content site. It's mostly a photo collection, though some videos are thrown in as well. Their main categories feature men, women, and couples showing their goods off, all in amateur style. The people here should be everyday people who don't mind showing off to the world. In a nice twist, this site is now free! They require you to register, but it doesn't cost anything to view or post here.
Shoot man, there's just a lot to see here. It may not be the easiest to get through it all, but it's all there. Somehow we counted around 200,000 photos, and around 9,000 videos. You shouldn't get bored here too quickly at all.
Most of the content feels pretty authentic here, as though it really came from everyday people who wouldn't normally do this. A few profiles do a little more advertising than actual showing off, but overall, the majority of the content felt solid.
Who can argue with free? It's cheaper than any other site you'll find out there, as long as you don't mind registering for a (free) account.
The updates come relatively often here. There are several additions each week at minimum.
Granted, they cover a lot of the basics. The content is separated into categories, you can browse by model basically, and even view the videos separately. However, when you actually are using the site, it's just not that user-friendly. It's far too basic with how much content they have.
In addition to the plain navigation, the rest of the site is pretty plain as well. This goes from design, to downloading options, to the lack of more thorough profiles.
I was surprised that people mostly post single images here. If there are any series of pictures, they are posted one at a time, separately from each other. I'd love to see the ability to post a group of even 5-10 images together.
At least some photos get pretty large, but the majority of the content here doesn't look great at all. There's a range of problems from poor lighting, to tiny images, to older images, to over-compressed videos, and on and on.
I think the user profiles could be more robust here. More personality would definitely help.
My Thumbnails is pretty basic in terms of a site. It looks like they're using some basic software that allows people to post images and videos, and create a profile. They have a lot of people doing just that, so there's a lot to see overall. The content is just as expected as well, meaning pretty low in quality, and pretty varying. You can find some good-looking people, but a lot of it is just random, seemingly older, content. Some people advertise other sites, and some people submit multiple copies of pretty much the same image. Still, you can't beat free, and you get a glimpse at some naked people that you otherwise would have never seen. It's not perfect, but it's a nice collection, especially at the price.
