Denude Art fits into the glamour photography genre with high quality pictures and videos of models in softcore shoots. They describe the site as "Erotic Fine Art Photography" and I think that is a fitting tagline for what's available. The guest tour has a nice sampling that allows visitors to view a directory of models, updates, and videos along with high-res picture samples. Lower down on the home page is a written About DNA section which provides some further background on their philosophy.
The content and models fit the bill in terms of high quality professional glamour content. The collection is dedicated to solo model in softcore stripping/posing in creative settings. The models are mostly European and there is a mix of indoor and outdoor shoots.
Content quality is Denude Art's best asset. Glamour photography sites should lead the way in terms of content quality and Denude sticks to form with ultra high-res pictures and high-def videos. The pictures are available in three or four sized images for viewing online or to be downloaded in zips. The videos have full-video WMV and QT formats with high-def level and a second more standard quality. Overall the quality is excellent and viewing options are solid and fit well with the type of content on the site.
The site's graphics and background are very appealing with nice amount of style. The navigation tools are straightforward with a chronological listing of the gallery updates plus a separate section for the videos and a model index. The model index can be sorted by name or model rating.
Download speeds are pretty fast.
Shoots are date-stamped with update information showing when they were added to the site.
Clear file size and length information is posted for each movie.
Glamour photography is a competitive niche section to be in and there are some big sites out there with years of archives. Denude has content going back to 2008 so they are a young site relatively speaking. The overall quantity is a weakness.
The videos section is much smaller than the photo gallery section which is okay for a glamour site but there are only a couple dozen total videos here. More pressing is the lack of updates as they seem to have stopped adding new videos in mid 2009 which doesn't make me optimistic about them getting more movies online.
The updates on the videos ceased about half a year before this review with the photo gallery additions continuing. Looking at the list the picture updates have not seen any updates for a month leading up to this review. Our reviews are a snapshot in time so it's impossible to know what will happen in the future but gaps like this are not a good sign.
The gallery zip files do not have any file size information posted.
Galleries have an "Extra Large" image link/zip that doesn't seem to be active on any galleries.
Video background music that some surfers may not like.
Denude Art delivers in some ways that you expect from a glamour photography site with exclusive high-res stylish content and sexy models. They also have a sharp looking site. They fall short when it comes to sheer quantity and are doubling that hindrance by letting the updates wither. Overall they have established a nice foundation but haven't kept up with the growth.
